Ania believes that in winter Kyiv lacks bright colors. He and her son Timofii walk a lot all year round and are fond of interesting colors and convenience.

“My ideal winter clothes are comfortable and convenient. I'd rather spend more money on branded items to wear them for more than one season than buy mass consumption goods. I prefer a warm light jacket, which I can put on immediately on a thin jacket or a T-shirt, I don’t like wearing one sweater on another. I buy Timberland boots - serviceable, comfortable and warm or quality original ugg boots. They can easily survive Kyiv winters, if you do not forget to use special impregnations.
I wear scarves, shawls, which can be wind around gently in winter, but I do not like hats. I wear mittens and gloves only when frosts are really severe.
It is noticeable that when the weather becomes cold, people in Kyiv most often wear dark monotone colors. Probably they feel more comfortable wearing them. I prefer bright colors and wear white and yellow jackets in winter.
