Is a dark jacket a necessity or a way not to stand out? Do itchy sweaters have a right to exist? The Weekend asked visitors of Prospekt shopping mall about the rules of their winter wardrobe.

Olha is happy that winter hats and scarves are fashionable - in this cozy variety everyone can find his/her piece of warmth and beauty. At the same time Olha is sad that in winter people in Kyiv wear too many black and grey clothes. I would like more colors and positive, she says. 
“For me it is a challenge to make a perfect set of clothes and shoes for Kyiv winter and an interesting task, because this set should be at the same time comfortable, convenient, stylish and fashionable.
A long warm coat is a must; serviceable shoes that can withstand slush and salt, which municipal employees generously strew on the streets. When I travel by car - I put on a lighter and shorter jacket and, of course, comfortable shoes.
I am glad that hats, scarves, mittens are now in fashion again, the choice is huge, the models are very interesting.
