On the eve of the Artist Day 12 sketchers will draw in Prospekt shopping mall. Urban sketching is a world movement of artists who make quick city sketches from nature. This is neither outdated travesty genre nor carefully traced portrait or landscape, but sketches that record a specific time and place, telling a story.
Kyiv has also joined the world movement, but not all places in the city are friendly towards artists. Prospect has invited the sketchers in order to give them an opportunity to experience a new space.
Our guests hold their exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, teach, illustrate books of famous publishers, draw cool calendars and bright postcards. We see their drawings on plates and cups, posters and labels, and on the products of the coolest Ukrainian brands.
Genre scenes and sketches appear in notebooks and albums of Iryna Vale, Inna Ruda, Yulia Kelyukh, Lena London and other authors: the girls try on new clothes and drink coffee at a food court, children drink cocoa or enjoy a new toy, couples choose a movie in a cinema, and men rest on the couches from the vanity of life. 
Each visitor will have a chance:
- to watch the work of the sketchers, 
- to learn more about sketching, 
- to try to create his/her own quick drawing: on the second floor of the complex from 12:00 p.m. to 02:00 a.m. a master class for all visitors: adults and children will be held.
