On November 10 the Multiplex cinema in Prospekt shopping mall will hold a charity premiere of the comedy movie "Who gets the dog?" All the proceeds from tickets sold will be used to support Ukraine's largest animal shelter "Sirius", which fluffy and whiskered four-pawed residents need help from concerned people.

The event begins at 19:00. Charity show will start at 20:00.

According to the coordinator of the shelter "Sirius" Oleksandra Mezinova, today there is an urgent need in purchasing medicines and food for animals. "Our shelter is already inhabited by about 2,000 dogs and 400 cats. These are rescued animals that have suffered abuse, and wandering the streets hungry looking for shelter from kind people. We require now veterinary products, dry food and warm clothes for our residents to warm them in cold winter "- says Oleksandra.

In order to draw public attention to the problem of stray animals and to help the shelter "Sirius", the Multiplex in Prospekt shopping mall supports social initiative of charity marathon of humanity, organized by "Snidanok 1 + 1" TV show.

Anastasiia Davydova, Network Marketing Director of Multiplex, is certain: "We can not ignore the problem of stray animals. I also have a dog, and I know how much attention and affection it needs. And it is very painful for me to realize that somewhere live hungry kittens and puppies. I think we just have to support the shelter "Sirius". Therefore, we, together with distribution company Multi Media Distribution, decided to show the best comedy about the animals - “Who gets the dog?”. I’m sure that audience will see how a pet can affect relationships in the family and even improve the atmosphere in the house. Who knows, maybe after the movie someone will want to take a cat or dog from a shelter "Sirius".

The event has already been supported by Prospekt shopping mall, canine centre for dogs training (www.kinolog-centr.kiev.ua ), which will demonstrate the best performance of the animals, the company ROYAL CANIN (www.royalcanin.com.ua) specializing in food for cats and dogs, as well as Ukrainian movie, TV and show business stars.
