In the run-up to the Olympic games in Brazil, Kyiv Multiplex cinema (Prospekt shopping mall) gathered the first viewers of the film entitled “Pelé: Birth of a Legend” that tells the story of the cult personality of Brazilian football.

The pre-premiere screening of the picture was held on 3 August with the assistance of Brazil embassy and Football1/Football2 TV channels. Grill do Brasil restaurant refreshed the evening with traditional Brazilian cocktails.

Welton Luis Costa Rocha Filho, attaché of Brazilian embassy in Ukraine, and the hostess of Football1/Football2 TV channels Alla Bublii introduced the film with a little narration about Brazilian football.

The biopic about the legendary football player is shown in cinemas starting from 4 August. Pelé has not only acted as an inspirator and prototype of the protagonist, but also as a co-producer of the film. The picture shows the little Ed Nacimento from a Brazil village who made himself and grew into the world football legend Pele.

Synopsis
“Pelé” is a breathtaking story of the greatest football player in the history, which gets the viewer immersed into the children years of Pelé.
