Special photos from Instagram - flat-lays - are called still-lives of the 21st century. At the master class of instabloger Alina Chubar at Prospekt shopping mall, Weekend tried to understand what layout is, why we need a grid in a camera, how accessories and backgrounds for holiday photos can be collected and which stores may become real décor Klondikes for flat-lay beginners.
Olia talks about work and plans:
«I work as a tester, I like beautiful photos and during the master class I managed to make two beautiful photos! I didn't have much success working in flat-lay style, but now, I think I will be luckier. It’s cool, that there was a lot of different décor there, beautiful trifles, backgrounds, which allows me to create different compositions. Earlier, I didn't know much about InstaFoto, so the information I got was new and interesting. I just have to buy nice things to work with. Now I can make not only selfies, but also beautiful photos.»
The tenth rule by Alina Chubar about flat-lays creation: «we are all creative people”
«Therefore, one has to adhere to the rules, but of course, each of us is a creator. If you just strictly adhere to the rules, your photos will not look really nice. Sometimes you just randomly scatter items, correctly expose the light, and the photo will get many likes.»
