About people with sense of humor and intelligence in an interview with Svitlana Maksymets in Prospekt shopping mall
24-07-2018

Svitlana Maksymets is the Editor-in-chief of the entertainment portal in Kyiv. As a professional journalist, she knows her «heroes», about whom she wrote her articles. And today, the situation has become «vice versa» in Prospekt shopping mall: Svitlana gives an interview during a special meeting with Olena Obukhivska, the PR manager of Prospekt shopping mall.
«Readers love simple, easy and inspiring stories about startups, travels to different countries, tours around Kyiv and Ukraine. And they are also interested in technologies - IT innovations, gadgets and user-friendly applications. This motivates us to develop ourselves in order to achieve new successes in life. After all, if others succeeded in creating their own business or becoming a opinion leader, then everyone can overcome difficulties», — Svitlana says. She loves bloggers’ posts about life hacks, for example, Zhenia Klopotenko and Alina Shubska. — «I really like it, when people share their thoughts and emotions on their personal pages. After all, today, when you want to learn more about a person - you look at what he publishes on Facebook, how sincerely he can tell about himself and reveal himself».
«I derived three rules on how to make a personal page interesting for me. The first is to minimize reposts. Even if you want to «share», it's better to write your attitude to this topic. Repost cannot be an «empty» link. There must be some message, why this information is interesting for the author of the page. Secondly, I would very much advise checking what you have written without immediate trust. Sometimes we see a publication about help and we start thinking about how to help. As a result, it turns out that this is another fake. Therefore it is important to check and take responsibility for what you read. And the third is sincerity. The best algorithm is to promote your page, when a person remains himself, rather than «building an unreal image». This is also important, because social networks are very sensitive. Ease and truthfulness - and the readers are interested. Besides, the author doesn’t need to be afraid of being himself», — Svitlana shares her experience.
«I have always been inspired by how warmly Svitlana talks about her heroes and how important her social position is for her. Volunteers in the ATO, educational projects with teachers, computer literacy for the elderly people are those ideas that change attitudes in society. After all, helping means giving a hint, teaching and motivating, but not solving a task or «let someone cheat». So I'm grateful to Svitlana that she talks about such people not indifferent socially to motivate others and give them the confidence not to be afraid of starting their startup or social project. She does this so that people read more, comprehended and made decisions to act. I'm Svetlana’s follower, and her articles gave me the confidence to remain myself», — says Olena Obukhivska, the PR manager of Prospekt shopping mall.
Svitlana Maksymets prefers purposeful shopping, but there are also «mismatches», when instead of buying dress she can take a shirt or a baking dish. Together with her nineteen-year-old daughter Olena, a brand expert and a trend setter, she can spend the whole day off by going to the cinema, catching a moment of taste on the food court, looking through books, and shopping with fittings in a shopping mall.
«Most of all I appreciate humor and intellect in people. The ability to laugh at oneself is a sign of a strong personality. Moreover, humor, as well as positive - is transmitted through social networks, and in live communication. Then others also feel themselves easy and jolly. And if a person reads a lot - it's always interesting with him. I'm using these rules — they really work. I try to motivate and inspire with my posts on Facebook», — says Svitlana Maksymets.
