Oleksandr, please tell us, which movie was the most popular in 2016, in your opinion? And why?

2016 was full of good movies marked as "must-see". The audience was hooked by the following movies The Revenant, Deadpool, Doctor Strange, Captain America: Civil War, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Suicide Squad, Zootopia and The Secret Life of Pets. They were actively discussed in social networks, so many have tried to visit Multiplex immediately on opening day to become a film critic and to be the first to express their opinion about the movie.

What genre did the residents of the left bank prefer most - comedy, science fiction, action, or something else?

Tastes differ. There are movies, which are seen by both teenagers and pensioners. Couples choose comedy. Parents with children come to cartoons. Girls prefer to choose melodramas and romantic comedies, and young people - actions, science fictions and adventures.

And the youth often comes to Multiplex for dating. There are universities near to Prospekt shopping mall. That is why we have a lot of students. They come to the cinema on a first date. We see young people entering the hall, still shy of each other, and after the movie they are already communicating with each other. Well, after watching movies they have something to say and discuss the main characters. In this regard, the movie brings people together, and I am very pleased that we can provide youth with interesting and motivating movies. Furthermore we have special discounts for students.

Who does more often go for cartoons with children - mothers or fathers?

Modern cartoons can teach children a lot - how to be friends, what is good and what is bad. Cinema is a rest for the whole family and even the tradition to spend time together with fun. According to our observations, visitors of Multiplex at Prospekt shopping mall are whole families. Especially if the family has one child, or the age difference between children is small. If a family has a boy and a girl than mothers bring daughters for stories about princesses, and fathers with boys go to the pirates' adventures.

Who can be more often seen at the cinema? Couples with children or group of friends?

We are visited by both married couples with children and friends - 50% to 50%. The youth loves evening sessions. I think this is not a bad thing, when young people go to the movies. It is informative, including for personal development and for the relations development between people.

What about gender sign? Who do visit Multiplex cinema at Prospekt shopping mall more often, men or women?

Both men and women love the same movies. The gender ratio may fluctuate depending on what movie genre is being shown.

Usually people come to the hall with popcorn. And what taste do your visitors prefer more?

Of course, with popcorn. Children and women take more often a sweet caramel popcorn, men prefer salty tastes. And all together choose the most popular one - with the cheese taste.

What do you think people usually come for session before or after shopping?

Shopping is not a rest, but a necessity. Therefore, after shopping at Prospekt shopping mall visitors come to the cinema to relax, disengage and see new interesting movie.

What movies would you recommend as must-see in 2017?

2017 promises to please us with a great quantity of long-awaited movie premieres. If to choose from the nearest, I would invite you to King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, directed by Guy Ritchie and a science fiction drama with elements of thriller Logan, based on the popular comic book. Do not forget about sequels and remakes of the world wide favorite movies Kong: Skull Island, Fast & Furious, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Alien: Covenant, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Transformers: The Last Knight, War for the Planet of the Apes and Thor: Ragnarök.

Do you like going to the cinema? Do you have a tradition of going to the cinema?

I love going to the cinema. I was fortunate to work in the cinema. I find it easy to understand our guests, as I am a spectator too. I have much in common with movies. I also had dates, and meetings with friends, and then we shared our impressions. Cinema bonds, inspires with new ideas, and develops friendship. Therefore, I like cinema.
