On November 30, Ukraine celebrates the Day of good deeds. This is the fourth time that Ukrainians have joined the Generous Tuesday international charity movement. Within the framework of this initiative, charity events are held for the development of various important projects supervised by foundations and charitable organizations. If a person wants to join this trend, then this can be done in several ways. Among other things this is volunteering, when you share your own time for a good cause. Or invest your talent by teaching others different skills. Or donations. Or participation in the"Generous Race".
Generous Tuesday has an important message for the whole society – "Good should sound loud." After all, the more information, followers, ambassadors and content there are about good deeds, the more followers they have. Because good and positive are transmitted – from person to person, from heart to heart.
The provider of Generous Tuesday is the Kind Challenge platform, where charity campaigns were created for key thematic foundations. And the Prospekt shopping mall and the brand's friends joined this trend of good with the mission of collecting donations for Kosmotabir 2022. The result is a fundraiser in the amount of UAH 36 thousand.
The mechanism of combining the Kind Challenge platform, Day of good deeds, Generous Tuesday , "Bachyty Sertsem" Foundation, Kosmotabir 2022, Prospekt shopping mall and friends are as follows: virtual run, immersive theater, call to good and collection of donations. This means that this is a multi-faceted and socially responsible trend that unites both organizations and people.
Prospekt shopping mall collected donations to Kosmotabir. This is an inclusive summer camp, whose mission is to draw public attention to inclusion issues and help children fully develop and socialize in our society. A separate program is to work with volunteers and teachers who interact with children in the "Kosmotabir".
Olena Pohodina, leader of the campaign idea "From Prospekt shopping mall for Kosmotabir 2022", notes: "For me, this is an important personal challenge. In the process of organizing the project, there were many components that needed to be linked. These include running, calling, and collecting donations. In Ukraine, the idea of charity, which involves "two steps" – both activity and donation - is not yet so actively perceived. But this is exactly what gives you the added value to share, tell about, and participate in. From Prospekt shopping mall, we chose the "Bachyty Sertsem" Foundation with an inclusive project "Kosmotabir so that children study in the summer in the appropriate camp and have a creative recreation. I also convinced my son to join me. And instead of a gift for his birthday, we collected donations. He was inspired by the idea that he could personally help someone."
The text of the audio performance, which was listened to by the fundraisers of the campaign "From Prospekt shopping mall for "Kosmotabir 2022", was written by Ukrainian writer Kateryna Babkina and voiced by the co-founder of Kind Challenge - Tetiana Hrynova, and here is a small exact excerpt from the play: "...in the Prospekt shopping mall they bring closer a world in which there is no disability in childhood, there is no diagnosis in joy, there are no barriers in love, and self-expression or self-realization does not cause condemnation, fear or unpleasant rumors.
But this world is impossible until each and every one of us has such a goal. There are a lot of small, at first glance, steps that can make our society more inclusive – first of all, it is to know more, correctly name people, and communicate adequately with them. To offer help or support in an acceptable way, and advise only on request.
And secondly, by implementing any project, initiative, business, educational or artistic project, make them as accessible as possible. For everyone".
Let's talk about the good out loud not only in the Prospekt shopping mall
