Special photos from Instagram - flat-lays - are called still-lives of the 21st century. At the master class of instabloger Alina Chubar at Prospekt shopping mall, Weekend tried to understand what layout is, why we need a grid in a camera, how accessories and backgrounds for holiday photos can be collected and which stores may become real décor Klondikes for flat-lay beginners.
Katia tells about herself and her impressions:
“I am an instabloger, just a beginner, photography for me is my profit and my future profession, so I really want to learn how to make beautiful pictures. During the master class, I learned a lot, most of all I liked the practical approach: I was pointed out to my mistakes and blunders and suggested how to correct them, it was very useful. For me, the most important knowledge was how to make the right backgrounds. I have been making flat-lays for a couple of months, but they do not always look beautiful. Such photos with layouts belong to one my favorite genres, so it was a great opportunity to improve my skills.”
The eighth rule by Alina Chubar reminds of the décor:
«It can be collected anywhere, for example, in the attic of your grandmother's house, where you can find a vintage item. Some people go to the flea market in Petrivka. Another place where you can find décor are home furnishing and décor stores. For example, in Prospekt shopping mall, I find useful items in ART MART, Jysk, “Bukva” and Miniso.”
Just a couple of rules for creating flat-lays by Alina Chubar read in the Prospekt’s following news.
