Taisiia Pavliukova is an experienced and certified yoga trainer, the founder of The Change. She has been practicing for more than 15 years and develops training programs aimed at doing yoga and achieving the results.
Taisiia says that yoga for her is a lifestyle, “One of the main tasks of yoga is to restore a person and give him/her a rest. Many people think that yoga-practitioners are always lying on the mats and doing breathing exercises. To tell the truth ... The right yoga program is an intensive training that will make your body feel tired, but you mind will relax and the whole body will be filled with vitality. During the training, you may be exhausted, but later you will feel healthy, fresh and naturally. The peculiarity of yoga is that you do not need to rest after it. Yoga is the recovery from other life difficulties: difficulties at work, problems at home and emotional problems... The goal of yoga is to make your life easier.”
In Taisiia’s opinion, practicing yoga you can achieve quite a lot, “Strengthening of muscles, developing of flexibility, working out of joints, restoring and rest. All this is achieved not only through exercises. Respiratory techniques and concentration exercises are appropriately incorporated into the program. The specific nature of breathing is important both in static positions and in movement. If you maintain proper breathing and concentration, then your body and mind will cooperate with each other, making you strong.”
“Usually, beginners start to practice because of health problems, especially back problems. They need adequate exercises, stretching and rational building of the back muscles. People say that they used to start practicing several times and always quit: they couldn’t find a person who could explain the asanas and the performance techniques and it was boring. Then they came to The Change and do not regret. They say that I am a very delicate and purposeful guide to their goals. With me, they feel easy, comfortable and confident both during individual classes and in a group.
I always propose different versions of performance of asanas, explaining what is being worked out, what people should feel and what pay attention to. My teaching style is the conscious yoga. My regular visitors always practice yoga with pleasure, telling they feel good after each session. The feeling of deep satisfaction after each lesson is also an impetus and motivation for further practice. Yoga develops self-love, sensitivity to your body and balance in everything. This is an ideal way to put your thoughts in order and to balance different aspects of life during the same session,” Taisiia says about communication and motivation of beginners in The Change.
Taisiia’s presentation during the project “Myxology of Trainings” at Prospekt shopping mall caused the enthusiasm and interest of guests of the shopping mall. Taisiia also shared her feelings, “I psyched myself up and managed to remove the state of inner fuss. Despite of the fact that we were in a very lively, bustling location in the shopping mall, I felt balanced and natural. At this event, I conducted a class dedicated to exercises, promoting stretching during leg splits, which requires patient and conscious handling of your body.
It will come to nothing if a person simply stretches his/her legs, forcing himself/herself to adopt a pose. I teach people to develop their flexibility step by step. During my demonstration performances I focused on the leg splits: longitudinal split in the lying position, longitudinal split with bending, split in a handstand, split standing on one leg, side split. One of the most amazing things about developing flexibility is that you feel how your body becomes free, light and soft.
When a person begins to feel his/her body in a new way, he/she also comes to know new aspects of his/her mind which were somewhere in the depths, and now come to the surface. Your mind will calm down and you will feel the power that rested somewhere deep inside you. It inspires and sets to further practice.”
Taisiia, of course, likes shopping, though she can’t afford spending much time for it, because she is very busy with her work. Sometimes it is difficult to combine harmoniously work and rest, but the main thing in her life is to realize and to want.
